You can minimize False Alarms by assuring:
- Everyone in your household understands how to use the alarm system and has the proper code to arm & disarm the system.
- Any visitors staying with you understand the operation of the alarm system. Many systems have the capability of using different codes for temporary situations.
- Test your alarm system monthly after first contacting your monitoring station to assure they do not dispatch the authorities.
- Alerting your installing alarm dealer to repair any defects in your alarm system that you detected during testing.
- Notifying your monitering service, should you accidently initiate the alarm, to avoid their notifying authorities.
